You will be able to build a shorter silencer than what is listed on your approved form 1, but you will not be able to build a longer silencer. 17.9” overall and 8.9” barrel length? Adjust accordingly for your barrel. You can take the measurement of your barrel and add it the length of your lower with your stock and get pretty close to what the sbr overall length would be when it is fully assembled, a.k.a manufactured.
